Meet Deborah

Deborah Marshall Ronander grew up in South Africa after moving there from England as a child. Surrounded by vast African skies and breathtaking landscapes, she developed a vivid imagination and a deep love of storytelling from an early age.

From riding wild donkeys across the veld to working as a game guide and lounge singer as a teenager, Deborah's extraordinary experiences introduced her to people, stories and adventures that continue to influence her writing today.
